Anna Hofbauer works between sculpture and photography, often based on structures borrowed from written forms such as novels, diaries, essays or screenplays. She has participated in exhibitions and sculpture workshops in Europe and Asia and performs slideshow presentations that link images of sculptures and spaces with historic and ongoing narrations. She is also co-founder, with Bianca Regl, of the non-commercial exhibition space BLACKBRIDGE OFF空间, Beijing, where she curated group-shows and film programs from 2010 till 2015.
